Iowa Lakes hosted the Indian Hills Warriors Saturday evening and fell 5-3. "The game was back and forth for about 75 minutes. They showed heart and desire to keep battling back from being down a goal. Eventually our legs just were just too tired, and we lost focus and made some silly mistakes," said Coach Viedenkamp. The girls answered three Warrior goals with three goals of their own. The Lakers were led by Nela Cizkova with a pair of goals in the 21st and the 65th minute. Isabela Polanco concluded the scoring for the Lakers in the 75th minute.
The Lakers next contest will be on August, 29th as they travel to Anoka Ramsey. Kickoff will be at 4:00 PM.
