(Spencer, Iowa) The Iowa Lakes Women's Soccer team has advanced to the Regional Tournament and is positioned as the 5th seed. Their first match is against the 4th seeded team, Indian Hills Community College, on October 21st, with kick off set for 2pm (CST).  The game will be webcasted.

When the Women's Head Soccer Coach, Blake Viedencamp, was asked about the upcoming matchup he said,

"This will be a touch match as we have met them twice already this season. Indian Hills is a good squad and we look forward to the opportunity to compete against them again. Our team has grown and improved since our last match up and we look forward to seeing how we compete".

Even though Iowa Lakes is coming in as the underdog, Coach Viedenkamp is very optimistic heading into this first round match up.   Coach Viedenkamp added, "I think we are hitting our stride at the right time in terms of moving the ball together, we just need to work on our finishing."
