The Iowa Lakes women's soccer team has finished regular season play and will begin postseason play Saturday, October 26th. They will play Iowa Central in Fort Dodge at 2pm.

The Lakers finished the regular season with a 3-4-1 record, earning a spot in the conference tournament as the sixth seed. They open with Iowa Central, the same opponent from their last regular season contest.

"We're looking forward to getting to play Iowa Central again.  They have a really good striker that can change games, and we've really focused in on stopping her this week. The ladies are geared up and ready," commented Head Coach Blake Viedenkamp.

The first round of the conference tournament consists of the four-five seed match up and 3-6 seed match up on Saturday, October 26. The second round will be played Tuesday, October 29, with the winner of the four-five game playing the number one seed and the winner of the three-six game playing the number two seed. The championship game will be Saturday, November 2, hosted by the highest remaining seed.
