The Iowa Lakes women's soccer team welcomed a talented Northeast team who capitalized and scored on two corner kicks and a distance shot with ten seconds left on the clock during the first half period. The lakers showed a much better performance in the second half controlling the play and speed of the game but could not seem to find the net. Northeast was able to take advantage of a defensive mistake which gave them their fourth in the 71st minute. The Iowa Lakes women's team continued to show great moments of resilience and controlled possession that should give them some added confidence for their next game away to Indian Hills on Saturday at 1 PM CDT (Livestream available via gohillstv.com).
