Overcoming a slow start, they retaliated with three consecutive goals after conceding the first in the 25th minute. Maria Vilhena, who capitalized on an exquisite pass from Isabella Hernandez netted the initial goal for the game. Alicia Haughin followed suit ten minutes later, displaying precision with a skillfully placed shot into the bottom corner, courtesy of Vilhena's assist. Vilhena, on fire, then set up her second of the day, orchestrating a brilliant pass to Cameran Renneke, who notched her 8th goal of the season. On Saturday, the Lakers are set to journey to Marshalltown for their last away game of the regular season.
