Laker Women Have Strong Performances at Mustang Invitational

Juliana Villa Rodriguez and Mavi Valentin both swam well in the 100 and 200 backstrokes.  Liz Crewe-Brown had strong swims in the 200 back, 200 breast and 400 IM. Maggie Jackson continued her impressive improvements in all of her events and had lifetime bests in everything she swam at the meet, including two strong anchor legs on both Laker relays.

"The women have been struggling with some injuries at practice so we are doing the best we can to keep them healthy and still get them race experience for future meets.  Jackson has been a pleasant surprise this season as she continues to improve each time she hits the water.  Her times surprise me and she will definitely have an impact as we progress through the season.  We are lucky she joined our team." Coach Peters noted after the meet.

The Laker Women are idle until next week when they swim at the Augustana Invitational on November 21-23.
