Lakers Volleyball signs Hannah Seil

Lakers Volleyball signs Hannah Seil

The Lakers signed their first player for the 2018 season. On Wednesday, November 1, 2017, the Laker coaching staff signed Hannah Seil to their 2018 roster. Seil is a 6'0 Middle Blocker from Lohrville, Iowa.

We are very excited to add Hannah Seil to our Laker Volleyball family," said Coach Hunter. Hannah will give us added physicality and a bigger block across the front row. She also brings a refreshing positive energy to the floor. With her skill set, volleyball IQ, and work ethic Hannah will be a great addition to our roster. I look forward to seeing her in Blue and Gold.

Hannah will graduate from South Central Calhoun High School in Lake City. During Hannah's senior season at SCC, across the front row she recorded 375 kills, over 3.5 kills per set, and 48 total blocks. For her back row performance Seil posted 207 digs and 46 aces.

Hannah had this to say about her decision to become a Laker, "I decided to come to Iowa Lakes for their Vet Tech Program and was still deciding if I wanted to play volleyball, but when I practice with the team, and met all of the girls, I immediately made up my mind that I wanted to play with them!"
