Lakers Volleyball Signs Evonne Tomlin

The Lakers signed their second player for the 2018 season. On Wednesday, November 8, 2017, the Laker coaching staff signed Evonne Tomlin to their 2018 roster. Tomlin is a 5'6" Right side/DS from Midlothian, Texas.

We are very excited to add Evonne to our Laker Volleyball roster," said Coach Hunter."Evonne  may not be the biggest kid on the floor, but she plays with a big heart. With her no-quit attitude, positivity, and work ethic Evonne will be a part of the spark that lights the fire for our 2018 season. I look forward to seeing her in a Laker uniform.

Evonne will graduate from Midlothian Heritage High School in Midlothian Texas. Evonne had this to say about her decision to become a Laker, "Everyone was so kind to me and it felt like a family. When I had to leave I didn't want to, and I knew I was home. Playing Volleyball at Iowa Lakes is a dream come true."
