Iowa Lakes Volleyball has signed Krishonna Jones for the 2018 season. On Wednesday, February 7, 2018, the Iowa Lakes volleyball team welcomed 5'10 Middle Blocker and Outside Hitter Krishonna Jones.
"We are excited to add Krishonna," said Coach Hunter. "She is very athletic and hits a heavy ball. She has a good vertical and high contact point when attacking the ball. She will bring some additional offensive depth to our roster!"
Krishonna will be a 2018 graduate from William B Travis High School in Austin, Texas. While at Travis HS she was a four-year varsity starter. Her freshman and sophomore years she earned 2nd team All-District honors. During her junior and senior years, she received 1st team All-District honors, and in her senior year was awarded the Most Valuable Hitter for her district.
While attending Iowa Lakes, Krishonna wants to continue to develop her athletic skills. Krishonna had this to say, "I am super excited to continue my career at ILCC. I look forward to becoming a Laker and to a successful season!"
