Laker Volleyball Signs Ariel Bozonie

The Lakers have signed another player for the 2018 season: the Iowa Lakes volleyball team welcomes Ariel Bozonie. Bozonie is a 5'10" Middle Blocker from Strom Lake, IA.

"We are very fortunate to have gained such a hard worker," said Coach Hunter. "Ariel is a very dedicated athlete. With her extremely driven work ethic, desire to succeed, and positive spirit, Ariel will be a great addition to our roster. We are so excited to have her as a part of the Laker Family!"

Ariel will be a 2018 homeschool graduate but was a member of the Storm Lake volleyball team. This season Areil led her team in various categories: total blocks, total kills, and kills per set. She recorded 46 blocks, 143 kills, and averaged 2 kills a set. She also posted 131 digs and 9 aces from the backrow.

While attending Iowa Lakes, Ariel wants to continue to develop her athletic skills and start her college education pursing a nursing degree. Ariel had this to say about Iowa Lakes, "I picked Iowa Lakes because of its smaller class size, which allows more one on one instruction with the student and teacher, and because of their great programs. I am excited to continue the sport I love at a higher level of competitiveness."
