The Iowa Lakes Lakers (4-15) won both of their matches on Saturday at the Jimmy John's Invite at Southeastern CC.
The Lakers opened the tournament with a (3-1) win over Highland CC of Illinois; 25-19, 23-25, 25-15 & 25-17. In their second match, the Lakers swept Graceland University JV 25-22, 25-13, 25-17.
Coach Turnbull had nothing but praise for his squad, "Beyond a doubt, we played our best ball of the season. We communicated well & played with a unified effort all day. It was great to finish off a long road trip with two wins."
