The Lakers travelled to Rochester, MN this weekend to take on Harper College, RCTC, Southwestern CC, and NIACC. Friday they took a set off of Harper and lost to a very scrappy RCTC in 3. On Saturday they started the day with a rematch against Southwestern and earned their first win of the season. Then they battled hard against NIACC and lost in three. "There were a lot of individuals who are competing really hard and figuring out their game, now we are working on putting it together. On Saturday our only two goals were to Elevate the play of our teammates and do our individual jobs and the team executed those two jobs," Said Coach Erdman. "We are looking to take the first spark of victory and use it to keep moving forward as a team.

The Lakers are 1-14 and 0-2 in conference. On Wednesday September 13th the Tritons of Iowa Central will roll into town to take on the Lakers in ICCAC play at 7:00 PM.
