The Lakers played host to #10 in the nation Iowa Central. The first set was tight all the way till about the 18 point mark. The Tritons never looked back and after starting the second set on an eight point run, kept control all night. "There is a big reason Iowa Central is #10 in the Nation, even though they lost a large part of their starting core, they have done a great job filling it. Some of our goal metrics in serving, hitting and passing they hit, and that's why they find success," said Coach Erdman. "There is always positives to be found in our game, as it improves and different athletes step into their roles. We just need to keep our nose to the grindstone and keep improving," said Coach Erdman.

The Lakers are 1-15 and 0-3 in conference. On Friday they will head up to Wahpeton, North Dakota to compete at North Dakota State College of Science in the Bell Bank Tournament. They will play Friday night at 4:00 pm against Minnesota State Community and Techincal College, and 7:30 pm against the host, North Dakota State College of Science. Saturday the begin the day against Bismarck State College at 9:00 am, and Dakota State University JV at 11:00 am.
