The Lakers traveled to Madison, South Dakota to take on Dakota State University's JV and Mounty Marty's JV in a tri match at DSU. The lakers ran into some tough teams that brought lots of good energy and effort. The Lakers struggled with offensive efficiency. During the second match against Mount Marty the Lakers lost of two of their players to ankle injuries. "It is really tough to stay engaged and compete when you watch your teammates that you love go down. The players rallied and fought after losing two of their own," says Coach Erdman.

The Lakers are 1-23 and 0-5 in conference. On Wednesday, September 27th the Lakers look to bounce back against conference opponent Northeast Community College in Norfolk, NE at 7:00 PM.
