Lakers battle the Hawks in Norfolk

The Lakers came out firing and really put a strong fight in the first two sets against the Hawks. Maintaining a lead for a large portion of set one and never giving up was a huge positive to see from the Lakers. The efficiency numbers in set one were a lot more of what the team has been hoping to achieve to start finding success. The Hawks are very strong, well coached team that eventually took over and didn't look back. "I was really happy with the way we battled tonight, down a few players, against a very skilled athletic team," said Coach Erdman. "I am excited for what could happen if we compete at this level against some of the middle of the pack teams in conference," said Coach Erdman.
