Lakers battle against Marshalltown

The Lakers fought very tightly in two out of three sets against Marshalltown. The Lakers showed a lot of very nice things but the overall athleticism of the Tigers and the lack of efficiency in the key moments took them out of the match. "It was really nice to see more grit and fight than we have had in awhile. A lot of individuals performed really well at their jobs, now it's just about bringing it together and being effiencient when the game gets tight," said Coach Erdman. "One thing that has been a bane for this group throughout is giving up long runs, last night was a lot of that same story, something we will continue to work on stopping in practice," said Coach Erdman.
