The Lakers traveled to Mason City for a third rematch with NIACC. They battled extremely hard and kept every set close but NIACC ended up taking the match in four. "It was awesome to be apart of Unite to Fight night and show support to those affected by cancer. We needed to play a lot cleaner down the stretch, but a lot of that boils down to playing so few matches tight in those situations. It was nice to see the fight improve dramatically and hopefully this will be a really good learning process for some of our younger athletes to mature off of," said Coach Erdman.

The Lakers are 1-32 and 0-9 in conference. On Wednesday October 18th the Lakers travel to Boone to take on DMACC at 7:00 pm.
