The Lakers played host to Western Iowa Tech for Dig Pink night. The Lakers came out with a lot of heart and fought till the end but WIT was just too scrappy and found ways to make plays happen when they needed it. "I was really happy with the way the girls fought as a whole. We definitely had spurts of this game where we looked the way we needed to to be able to win," said Coach Erdman on the game. "It was definitely a year of adversity for the ladies with lots of challenges. I know this will help this group become stronger women in their lives beyond and years to come," said Coach Erdman.

The Lakers finish the season 2-35 with an 0-11 record in conference. They look to grow and improve this spring season and come out firing in the fall of 2024.
