The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team moved to 7-3 on the season with a 72-61 W over Kansas City Community College.
The Lakers were led by Cody Cox with 16 points. Also, scoring in double figures for the Laker's was Streeter McIlravy with 13 points, Dennis Joiner with 11 points, and Tywon Bressler with 10. Jaylon Tapplar led the team in rebounds with 11.
Kansas City was led by Mike Lee with 13 points.
The Lakers held Kansas City to 34 % from the Field and out rebounded them 44 to 34.
"I thought our guys guarded hard tonight" said Iowa Lakes Head Coach Troy Larson.
The Laker's next action will be when they host former Laker Brynar Brynyarson's Marshalltown Tigers on Wednesday, December 14th. Tip will be at 7:30 pm.
