The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team moved to 14-7 on the  season with a 77-74 win over Iowa Western.

The Lakers were led by Jaylon Tapplar with 20 points and 14 rebounds. Dennis Joiner added 16 points, Mitch Keller added 12 points and 8 offensive rebounds, and Tywon Bressler had 10 points.

Iowa Western was led by Donovan Walker with 28 points.

Iowa Lakes out rebounded Iowa Western 52-28 which included 25 offensive rebounds.  The Lakers also shot 43% percent from the field in the game. 

The Lakers will travel to Winnebago, Nebraska to play Little Priest Tribal College today February 8th. Tip will be at 7:30 pm. They will return home Saturday to play Ellsworth. Tip for that game will be at 3 pm.
