The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team moved to 19-7 on the season and 6-3 in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference play with a 91-65 win over Iowa Central.
The Lakers were led by Kyle Beisch with 23 points. Streeter McIlravy added 18, Mitch Keller had 17 points and 12 rebounds, Dennis Joiner had 12 points and 10 rebounds, and Jaylon Tapplar had 12 points and 9 rebounds.
The Lakers shot 53%(36-68) from the floor and 40% from 3 (11-27). The also out rebounded Iowa Central 51-19.
Iowa Central was led by Tray Croft with 24 points.
Iowa Lakes will travel to Creston to play 3rd ranked Southwestern(26-1) on Saturday. Tip for that game will be 3 pm. Their next home game will be Wednesday, March 1st at 7:30 vs. DMACC.
