The Lakers will host the Tritons from Iowa Central on Saturday, February 2nd at 3:00 PM.
The Lakers and Tritons already met earlier this season in Fort Dodge. Iowa Central came out with the win, 98-96. For the Tritons, two sophomores scored more than 20 points. #24 Kemryn Jenkins scored 27 points and #20 Dallas Bailey had 24 points.
For the Lakers, Solomon Clayton scored 28 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Three other Lakers scored in double digits. Kevin Jennings finished with 17 points. Malcolm Clayton scored 14 points and Boston Grimes had 12 points.
When asked Lakers Head Coach Troy Larson his thoughts on the matchup tomorrow, he stated, "They (Iowa Central) got us earlier this season. It's a great opportunity to get them back in front of our fans."
The Women's game will tip off at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 2nd. Iowa Lakes Community College will also be hosting the Jam the Gym Event.
