Iowa Lakes Freshmen guard Kevin Jennings of Grand Prarie, TX earned Iowa Community College Conference Athlete of the Week for his efforts against DMACC and Kirkwood Community College.

Against DMACC, Jennings had a monster game scoring 36 points for Lakers.  He was 10 of 18 from the floor including going 6 of 11 from the 3 point line. The Lakers would win the game in triple overtime 112-106.  Later that week, The Lakers would travel to Cedar Rapids to take on 4th rankd Kirkwood. In that game Jennings would scored 22 points while shooting 8 of 13 from the floor and 6 of 7 from 3. Kevin is averaging 17.1 points per game on the year while shooting 52% from the floor and 45% from 3. In ICCAC play Jennings is the second leading scorer and has averaged 21.4 points per game shooting 52% from the floor and 50% from 3. 

Coach Larson had this to say about Jennings "Kevin has really matured as a player as we come down the stretch, I am proud of him and am excited to see what he can do as we finish the year ."
