Estherville, IA- The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team moved to 7-2 on the season with a 117-78 win over Northwestern College's JV.
The Lakers were led by Boston Grimes with 23 points. 4 other Lakers would score in double figures including Xavier Evan's with 19, Dillon Carlson with 15, Justin Brookens with 13, and Alan Kikwaki with 12.
Coach Larson had this to say about the game, "We came out flat to start the game, our energy level wasn't great but responded and played a better second half."
The Lakers will travel to Mason City, Iowa on Saturday, November 30th to play Central Community College as part of the NIACC Thanksgiving Basketball Challenge. Tip will be at 6 pm.
