The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team fell to 9-3 on the season and 1-1 in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference play with a 91-84 loss at Kirkwood.

The Lakers were led by Justin Brookens with 29 points. Also scoring in double figures for the Lakers was Keshawn Pegues with 15 points, and Dillon Carlson with 12. Pegues led the Lakers with 12 rebounds.

Kirkwood was led by Luke Appel with 21 points.

The Lakers will trace to Marshalltown on Wednesday. Tip for that game will be at 7pm.
