The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team advanced to the Semifinals of the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference Tournament with a 101-75 win over Ellsworth. The win pushes the Lakers record to 26-5 on the season.
Justin Brookens led all scorers with 35 points. Brookens also had 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Dillon Carlson added 18 points, Malcolm Clayton had 15, Alan Kikwaki had 11, and Boston Grimes and Kevin Cook each had 10.
Ellsworth was led by Adam Jackson with 27.
The Lakers will travel to Boone, IA on Thursday to take on DMACC in the semifinals of the ICCAC tournament. Tip for the game will be at 7 pm.
