Estherville, IA- The NJCAA 15th ranked Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team is set to take on NJCAA 5th Ranked Ellsworth Wednesday night. Tip for the contest will be at 7:30 PM in Estherville.
The Lakers are currently 11-4 overall and 3-2 in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference play. The Lakers are led in scoring by Kai Evans who is averaging 17.9 points per game, Also averaging double figures for the Lakers is Sam West at 15.3 points per game, Ashton Hermann with 12.5 points per game, and Benard Omooria with 12.4 points per game. West leads the Lakers in rebounding at 7.8 board per contest.
Ellsworth is currently 14-2 overall and 6-0 in Iowa Community College play. The Panthers are led by Chimobi Ikegwuruka.
