Estherville, IA- The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team moved to 4-2 on the season with a 93-84 win over Dordt's JV.
The Lakers were led by Jhordan Ryan with 29 points. Jermaine Freeman added 19 points, Ashton Hermann added 12, and Carlos Goicoechea added 11.
Dordt's JV was led by Dylon Schapp with 20 points.
Laker Head Men's Basketball Coach Jason McKinney had this to say about the game. "We have to guard the perimeter better then we did tonight. Our guards didn't do a very good job of containing dribble drive which created a lot of open 3's for Dordt."
The Lakers next contest will be this weekend when they travel to Mason City to take part in the Iowa Nebraska Thanksgiving Classic. They will play Southeast Nebraska on Friday at 4pm, and Central Nebraska on Saturday at 1pm. There next home contest will be Monday, November 25th vs. Northwestern's JV.
