Estherville, IA- The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team moved to 14-8 overall and 5-6 in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference play with a 102-91 double overtime win at Iowa Western.
The Lakers were led by Jermaine Freeman With 30 points, Steven Martinez added 21, Ashton Herman had 20, and Jhordan Ryan added 15 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 blocks.
Iowa Western was led by DaCarter Coleman with 25 points. He
"Our guys fought and lived tonight. Super proud of how hard they played and their resilience. The defensive effort and desire to win in the second overtime was tremendous." Said Laker Head Coach Jason McKinney.
The Lakers will travel to Iowa Falls on Saturday to take on NJCAA 12th ranked Ellsworth. Tip for that game will be at 3pm.
