Estherville, IA- The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team moved to 18-9 overall and 8-7 in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference play with a 72-62 win over Western Iowa Tech.

The Lakers were led by Jermaine Freeman with 13 points, Jhordan Ryan added 12 points, and 13 rebounds, Ashton Herman added 11 points, and Thoralingo Gilo added 10.

Western Iowa Tech was led by Izaiah Porter with 20 points.

"I thought once we settled in the second half we played well. We could of been better defensively but we executed offensively down the stretch."

The Lakers will host 4th ranked DMACC on Wednesday night. Tip for that game will be at 7:30pm.
