"It was great to see two of our sophomores, Chris and Kale, bounce back and play how they're capable. Chris and Kale shaved 22 combined strokes from our first tournament. I'm pleased we've had 4 different varsity players crack the top 10 in our first two outings. Kale was one stroke from us having all 5. That said, I feel like our course management and composure let us down," said Coach Myers. "A player's course management and decision-making is 100% controllable and can be fixed. That's the positive side. If we continue to play well and sharpen the areas we can control, we will be in contention in most tournaments."
The Lakers' next appearance will be in Boone on 9/27 hosted by DMACC.
