Wednesday afternoon pitted two teams ranked in the top 20 by the NJCAA. #18 Iowa Lakes hosted #3 Iowa Western in an ICCAC battle that found the hosts coming up short in the end. The scoring began just before halftime as the Reivers put one past the Iowa Lakes' defense. The second half proved to be more exciting as the Reivers scored three more goals with the Lakers scoring a pair of goals themselves courtesy of sophomore, Freddy Fragozo. The match ended 4-2 in favor of the Reivers. With the loss, the Lakers are now 11-4 overall and 10-4 in the ICCAC. The Lakers are now looking to the future as they finalize the ICCAC regular season at home on October 18th against Northeast Community College and away at NIACC on October 22nd.
