The Iowa Lakes Men's Soccer Team took to the field Wednesday evening against out-of-conference, Central Community College of Columbus, Nebraska. The Lakers took off early as Freshman, Antonio Hernandez, capitalized off of Sophmore, Enoch Duval's pass.The scoring didn't stop there as Sophomore, Freddy Fragozo, and Freshman, Charlie Hackshall, added to the scoring sheet before halftime. The Lakers then scored three more goals in the second half courtesy of Freshman, Rian Marques, and Sophomores, Gustavo Nascimento and Felipe Giancoli. The match ended with the Lakers overtaking the Raiders six goals to nothing; adding a second clean-sheet in a row to goalkeeper, Ollie Harrison's, resume. The Lakers improved their overall record to 5-2 as they look forward to hosting Scott Community College this Saturday, September 17th, in conference play.
