Iowa Lakes Men's Soccer Team hosted Iowa Western on Saturday in their final regular-season home game. The Lakers did not have the start they wanted, conceding two early goals in the first ten minutes of the match. After the first 15 minutes, the Lakers found their rhythm, controlling the rest of the half, but they struggled to create any real chances.

The Lakers continued to control the game in the second half, but a stubborn Reivers defense made life difficult for Iowa Lakes. With the clock dying down, the Lakers had no choice but to chase the game, committing more numbers higher up the field and were caught out in the final minute of the game, conceding a third goal and losing the match 3-0.

The Lakers travel to Marshalltown on Tuesday for their final match of the regular season.
