On Tuesday, Iowa Lakes Men's Soccer team traveled to Marshalltown and defeated the Tigers 4-1. Rivaldo Present passed the ball to Jose-Miguel Boggio in the 28th minute, who scored with a superb long-range drive that struck the top corner of the goal.  Ten minutes later, Leonardo Seixas crossed a perfect ball from the left flank across the face of the goal for Jason Dyer to finish. Marshalltown struck back one minute later, with Fumiya Shiraishi burying a shot from inside the 18-yard box.

The scoring got on the way in the second half when Jason Dyer drove into the box and played a 1-2 combination with Leonardo Seixas to get the ball back and score, making it 3-1. Logan Roach found Henry Tolbert in the box in the 61st minute, and he used his ingenuity to put the ball away, making it 4-1.

Iowa Lakes finished the regular season with a 6-1-1 record in the conference after the game at Marshalltown. The Lakers will meet Marshalltown again in a Region XI semifinal showdown on Wednesday, October 27th, at 3 p.m. at home.
