In a game that had 19 fouls by Southeastern, 6 by Iowa Lakes, 7 Yellow cars and a Red by Southeastern, and one Yellow by Iowa lakes. Each team scored three goals for the tie. The visiting Lakers started the scoring in the 13th minute when Rory Currie found Kasper Wollstein who drove at the Blackhawks back line and slipped a pass into Haruya Higuchi. Then in the 26th minute, the Blackhawks tied the score. In the 39th minute Southeastern flipped the score by scoring again, at the half Southeastern was up 2-1. First half shots had Blackhawks with 11 and 8 on goal, the Lakers has 4 and 2 on goal.
 
In the second half the Lakers played better defense, only giving up 5 shots in on goal, in the 57th minute Southeastern takes advantage of a mix up with the Laker Kepper and defender and makes it 3-1. It stayed that way until Garbhan Feeney drew a foul in the area, and Lander Barrio Gonzalez put away the penalty kick in the 78th minute. Iowa Lakes then finds the equalizer in the 85th minute, as the play moved from right to left and Garbhan beats his man in the area passing to Shaiyon Johnson, whose shot is saved but the rebound get put in by Kenta Yagi.
 
This is the 5th time Iowa Lakes Man's team has come from behind this year, resulting in two wins and three ties. Iowa Lakes Women's coach observed after the match, "This team has a level of composure, even when down, that is something special." The undefeated 7-0-3 will play agains Northwest Iowa CC on Wednesday.
