Iowa Lakes and WIT played a tightly contested match that only had one goal in it, Haruya Higuchi put a rebound off the cross bar into the net in the 23rd minute. this goal stood up for the rest of the match as the game winner. The Lakers grinded out the win by not allowing a shot in the second half. WIT was able to keep it 1-0 with good goal keeping and hard-nosed defending the entire the match. With 10 yellow cards and one red, it was not a game for the faint of heart. By grinding out this win this keeps everything to play for the Lakers.
