The ICCAC released the All-Region team selections on Wednesday, to which 8 Lakers earned ICCAC All-Region honors. Coach MacRae said this about the selections, "Congratulations to all eight athletes for earning spots on the all-region teams! They've had exceptional seasons so far."
The Lakers earned 3 selections for First Team-All Region after finishing second in the conference standings. However, the Lakers were the Region 11 Tournament Champions, and their 2024 selections were striker Kasper Wollstein, midfielder Garbhan Feeney and defender Florent Lefebvre. Freshman Wollstein and Lefebvre made their impact known throughout the season. Wollstein led the Lakers in goal contributions with 28. Lefebvre played solid defense while providing seven assists. Feeney sits No. 3 in the NJCAA in assists with 17. Coach MacRae had this to say about the first team selections "On the first team, Garhban stands out as one of the nation's top playmakers with 17 assists. Kasper boasts an impressive double achievement with 14 assists and 14 goals, while Florent has added seven assists from his left back position. It's been a joy to watch each of them excel this year."
The Lakers saw 3 more individuals selected, earning Second Team All-Region. Ruadhan Feeney, Jeremy Koppe, and Keiji Segiura. Coach MacRae said this about the second team selections, "On the second team, Keiji overcame a slow start to become a solid presence, and Jeremy, alongside Ruadhan, has been a leader in our defense."
Two more Lakers earned All-Region Honorable Mention, Shaiyon Johnson and Haryua Higuchi. Coach MacRae had this to say bout the pair, "We also had two remarkable players, Shaiyon and Huraya, receive honorable mentions. Shaiyon's tireless work in midfield often goes unnoticed, and Huraya finished as our top scorer."
