Dual of the North

THe Lakers took on U of M-Morris this weekend in a dual meet of sprints! 

The meet started off with a strong 200 Medley Relay consisting of Freshman Jaxon Roberts (Back), sophomore Pedro Brandao (Breast), Freshman Grant Bumsted (Fly) and Joao Rodrigues (Free) with a finishing time of 1:49.51 earning them second place!

Freshman Mana Thoms took on the 200 Freestyle, the 500 Freestyle and the 200 IM. Earning first place finishes in the 200 free with a 2:09.30, the 500 Free with a new Personal record of 5:57.53 and another personal record in the 200 IM wth a 2:30.86! Great job Mana!

On the Men's side, Freshman Lucas Neuvonen competed in the 50 Back (30.39), the 50 Free (25.04) and the 50 Fly (27.50). Freshman Jaxon Roberts competed in the 50 Back (32.87), and the 100 Free (58.04). Grant Bumsted placed first in both the 100 Fly (56.51) and the 50 Fly (25.07) and the 50 free.  Sophomore Caleb Hodge maintained his times in the 50 Free (24.21) and the100 free (53.93). Sophomore Pedro Brandao took home 1st place in the 50 Breast (28.61) and 100 Breast (1:02.05), he also placed 3rd in the 50 Free with a 23.92 Sprinting Sophomore Joao Rodrigues tried events a little out of his norm, the 50 Back (34.70), 50 Fly (28.85) and 50 Breast (35.75). The Final score was 93-62 for the men and 83-18 for the women. 

Your Laker Swimming and Diving doesn't travel again until Decmber 4th to take on the Warrior Invite down in Nebraska!
