Chase is in her first season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Laker softball program.
Chase was an NFCA All-American pitcher for the Lakers. She was also a two-time 1st Team All-Conference recipient, a four-time ICCAC Pitcher of the Week, a NJCAA Pitcher of the Week, a two time ICCAC Academic All-Region recipient, and two time NJCAA Academic All-American. Chase led her team to back-to-back Regional Championship game appearances and national rankings. You can find her all over the Iowa Lakes Softball record book; 2nd in career batting average (.490), 4th in career runs scored (131), 8th in career hits (151), 6th in career doubles (39), 1st in career walks (57), 4th in career wins (35), 5th in career innings pitched (285.1), 5th in career strikeouts (294), 3rd in career games pitched (59), and 3rd in career shutouts (17). She is the current record holder in single season walks (40), batting average (.529), and on-base percentage (.624).
After Iowa Lakes, Chase continued her academic and athletic careers at Northern State University. She was an All-Conference selection in her senior season. Chase graduate with her Exercise Science degree and is currently pursuing her Physical Therapy Masters through Augustana University.
