(Emmetsburg, Iowa) The Lakers traveling team ended in 8th place on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at the SCTP State Trap Shoot in Waukee, IA. A strong northwest cross wind made the targets very tricky. The top five shooters for the Lakers 420x500 squad were: Cameron Fick 86, Brady Abkes 86, MacKenzie Schnetzer 84, Wyatt Schwenker 83 and Chase Young 81.

There were 36 women and 107 men competing in this year's 16 yard competition. This is the last shoot of the fall season for the Lakers who finished with 3 wins and 2 losses in the Western Division of the ICCAC.

The Lakers plan to compete in the ACUI Nationals in San Antonio the 3rd week of March 2024.
