(Emmetsburg, Iowa) On Wednesday, Sept. 11 the Iowa Lakes Sports Shooting Team opened the 2024 ICCAC Trap League season at their home range north of Cylinder, IA in a 100 target match against Iowa Western. Iowa Western won the team event 492 to 465 over the Lakers. Freshmen shot the top 4 scores for the Lakers. The Iowa Lakes Team score of 465x500 included: Joe Perrigo 96, Jacob Grau-West 95, Tristan Werner 93, Blake Bresler 93, and Paul Van Dover 88.

The Lakers travel to Sibley, IA on Saturday, Sept. 14 to shoot against NCC in a 100 target trap match. The shoot starts at 10:00 am.

Coach Kalsow said," I was pleased with the way we shot in our first meet of the season and also want to congratulate a fine Iowa Western Team for shooting 492x500, which is the best team score ever shot at Sportsman's Park in Cylinder.
