The Iowa Lakes Sport Shooting Team competed in the American Trap 16 Yard Event at the National Gun Club in San Antonio, TX, on Thursday, March20, 2025. The 4 man squad of Jacob Grau-West, 94; Joe Perrigo, 91; Tristen Werner, 89; and Joe Billing, 88 broke 362x400. There were 926 men and 243 ladies competing in the 16 yard event this year. The 1169 shooters is a record.

The Team awards are based on the Colleges top 5 scores and there were 96 Teams with 5 shooters competing. There were only 6 Teams with 4 shooters and the Lakers 362x400 was in second place by 6 targets. Joe Perrigo had a perfect 25 straight and Tristen Werner, Joe Billings, Jacob Grau-West all shot 24x25.
