Lakers top the Spartans

Iowa Lakes Sports Shooting held their initial ICCAC shoot at the Palo Alto County Gun Club on Saturday, Sept. 14. The gusty winds made the clay targets jump and dive, but Iowa Lakes won the team competition with a score of 449x500. They actually tied the SWCC team score, but in the tie breaker, Iowa Lakes number 6 shooter's score of 84x100 was 4 targets better than SWCC's 80x100.

The members on the winning Iowa Lakes team were: Kolby Kendall 93. Tom Crocoll 91, Ethan Collins 89, Brennan Duhn 88, and Nick Egeland 88. Two shooters: Tiegan Huntley and Alex Strantz had 84 had to win the tie breaker.

In the men's category Kolby Kendall won the gold medal with his 93x100. In the women's category Tiegan Huntley took the silver medal with her 84.
