The Lakers fall on the road tonight at Northeast 61-95.
The Lakers were led by Marissa Ruiz with 17 points and 4 assists. Lemia Ntor-Ue added 15 points and 6 rebounds.
"Tonight was a tough night for the Lakers. I am anxious to see how we respond to the new opportunity tomorrow. I thought we grew tonight and are beginning to see how hard you have to play every possession," commented Head Coach Ashley Martin.
The Lakers are 1-1 on the season and 0-0 in conference play. The Lakers return to action tomorrow in the 2nd day of the Northeast classic when they take on North Platte CC at 12:00pm. The Lakers return to home on Tuesday, November 14th when they take on Northwestern JV at 5:30pm.
