Lakers lose tough battle at NDSCS

The Lakers fall on the road today to North Dakota State College of Science 66-72. The Lakers had a very balanced scoring effort today. The Lakers were led by Mia Wassink with 14 points and 6 rebounds. Calynn Jackson added 13 points, Marissa Ruiz added 11 points, and Anjanea Simms and Lemia Ntor-Ue both added 10 points apiece.

"Incredible effort by the team today. Disappointed we couldn't pull off the win but extremely proud of our kids. We battled and competed for 40 minutes today. I really liked our effort and focus on the floor. This team continues to improve every day and I am anxious to see us continue to improve," commented Head Coach Ashley Martin.

The Lakers are 1-6 on the season and 0-0 in conference play.  The Lakers return to action on Tuesday, November 28th when they host South Australia at 5:30pm.
