The Lakers topped Bethel JV this evening 52-46. The Lakers were led by Mia Wassink with 14 points and Lemia Ntor-Ue added 13 points.
"I am so proud of our team. They found a way to win tonight on the road in a tough environment. This is huge for our girl's confidence. I thought we defended really well tonight. We showed improvement on the defensive end. We have a quick turnaround tomorrow as we play at noon against a very good St. Thomas team," commented Head Coach Ashley Martin.
The Lakers are 2-7 on the season and 0-0 in conference play. The Lakers return to action Saturday, December 2nd when they take on St. Thomas University at 12:00pm. The Lakers return to home on Monday, December 4 when they host Dakota Wesleyn JV at 5:30pm.
