The Lakers top Ellsworth 77-48. The Lakers were led by Samantha Hagedorn with 24 points. Safiyer Coleman added 17 points, and Beth Rehse added 15 points.
"Nice win on the road tonight. I thought our kids competed and moved the ball against their zone. It is good to see the progress we are making against zone defenses," commented Head Coach Ashley Martin.
The Lakers are 19-5 on the season and 7-3 in conference play. The Lakers return to action when they travel to Keokuk on Saturday, February 9th to take on Southeastern at 1:00pm. The Lakers return home Wednesday, February 13th when they host DMACC at 5:30pm.
