The 2019-2020 Iowa Lakes Women's Basketball team is looking to kick off their season early with a JUCO Jam in Ames, IA this Sunday, October 6.  They will scrimmage three different teams in the fieldhouse.  The first game will tip off at 12:00pm against Milwaukee Area Tech. The second tip off starts at 2:00pm versus North Central Missouri and the third game of the day will begin at 4:00pm against North Dakota School of Science. 

The Laker women have eight returners and brought in four newcomers this year.  They expect to pick up right where they left off last year, where they finished with a respectable 21-10 record.  They have back their leading scorers, Shareece Smith and Breanna Wendland, along with a few other key players that contributed a big part in their success.
