The Lakers found their offensive rhythm today topping Central CC 74-40. The Lakers had four in double figures and everyone scored. Breanna Wendland and Safiyer Coleman led the Lakers with 16 points a piece. Shareece Smith and Brianna O'Donnell each added 11 points.
"Great team effort today. This team continues to gel and learn how to play together. I thought defensively we did a lot of good things. Our energy and effort was great. Look forward to seeing how we bounce back in a quick turnaround tomorrow against Marshalltown," commented Coach Martin.
The Lakers are 3-2 on the season and 0-0 in conference play. The Lakers return to action on Saturday, November 16th in the 2nd day of the Emerson Classic when they take on NJCAA Division I Marshalltown CC at 5:00pm. The Lakers next home game is Wednesday, November 20th when they host Gustavus JV at 5:30pm.
